Push Party Pulls A Reality Bending $200m Valuation

Push the button for a push party

Most of it is real. Push Party, an invitation-only social network (in the loosest definition) that is nothing more than a button to press. This idea and its implementation somehow received a valuation of $ 200 million. An app with a simple red button valued at $ 200 million. If that doesn’t inspire you to work on the app you designed in your head, nothing will.

The folks at MSCHF assure me that the review is as real as the app and as social as the app. Somewhere here there is a lengthy assessment of the venture capital scene that such an app could attract such financial attention even with speculation. I was also told that Push Party has been in beta for the past few months and has been used by some of the biggest celebrities, influential people, and venture capitalists out there. Again, MSCHF assures me that this is a real thing that happened.

“Very few times in my career have I seen an idea that intrigued me with its originality and daring so much that I was scared and obsessed at the same time,” said Trae Stephens of Founders Fund Name says it all. What people may not realize, however, is that MSCHF is a group of unprecedented visionaries planning to completely redefine the social media landscape. I am very excited to be working with the Push Party team to achieve this bold goal. We were a little apprehensive about the rating at first, but I told my folks to run for shots for less than $ 250 million. “

The actually unreal part of this is that the current notifications on the Push Party welcome page are fake. Obama, Taylor Swift and Lionel Messi don’t push that button on their phones. One would assume that once the app is completely filled with lesser name recognition influencers, C-list celebrities, venture capitalists, and the rest of us schlubs – assuming we get an invite, those notifications would be assumed to no longer exist.

You see, in order to be really appreciated in this world, you first have to be invited to a social network only by invitation, regardless of a functioning existence. Where other apps try to solve a problem or uniquely connect people, Push Party is just Facebook’s poke feature without poking anyone but your own ego. It’s a metaphysical spread of social apps. If I hit the button, will I exist? Only when you are invited to exist.

This launch round for this app indicates a runaway trading sector. Reviews are nonsense as they are, and pressing a button to send a notification to all users is a nonsensical way of communicating. All of that is the point of the push party; It only exists to exist and is valued at more than ten minutes of development time it took to create.

Quantum theory tells us that reality only exists when it is observed. This is the case with push party notifications and their users. Such is the case with an invisible $ 200 million. It is a reality that is created out of nothing and does not aim at anything. Not only that, but as with any review – are there users? The fake notifications on the welcome page would make the claim that reality is not what we could ever assume.

But heck, at least we could push a button on an app that a celebrity might be using. That’s all of the reality that some people need.

Push Party is now only available for Apple iOS. If you want an invitation, don’t ask me, I don’t exist.
