Americans spent a record $ 9 billion online on Black Friday this year, according to data provider Adobe Analytics. This is a 21.6% increase from 2019, when consumers spent $ 7.4 billion. The final numbers were in line with Adobe’s projections that estimated spending on Friday lunchtime Black Friday was between $ 8.9 billion and $ 9.6 billion.
